How it works

From the regulator to your inbox

  1. 01

    We watch the sources

Every day we check the regulators and industry bodies we cover, including Financial Sector Conduct Authority (South Africa), South African Reserve Bank and Prudential Authority. You only get items we have not sent before.

  2. 02

    Our AI reads and summarises

Our purpose-built AI reads each new publication in full and, where the text can be read, writes a short summary: what changed, who is affected and the key dates, with a link to the original.

  3. 03

We check every quote and figure

Every quote and figure is matched against the source. If one does not match, we send the title and link instead of the summary.

  4. 04

    We tag and prioritise

Each item is tagged with up to three topics, such as banking, markets or enforcement, and consultations, penalties and deadlines are marked high priority.

  5. 05

    You get the alert

One digest each morning, or weekly on Mondays, with "Relevant to you" first and a short "Also worth a look" list so nothing is missed. Change your choices or unsubscribe from any email.

FAQ

Common questions

Who is it for?

Built for executives, boards and compliance, risk, legal, governance, tax and investment professionals across financial services. It is a compliance information service, not legal advice.

Which regulators and bodies do you monitor?

We monitor a growing set of South African financial services regulators and industry bodies using publicly accessible material only, including Financial Sector Conduct Authority (South Africa), South African Reserve Bank and Prudential Authority. We are adding more, and this list will grow. Coverage can vary if a source restricts access.

How are alerts delivered?

By email, as a daily digest at 7am or a weekly digest on Monday mornings, local time for your edition. Items matching your topics come first, followed by a short list of items that may touch them. You choose when you sign up and can change it at any time.

Is this just a general AI chatbot?

No. It is a purpose-built AI system for regulatory change. It collects from the regulators' own pages every day, reads the full published document, and drafts a summary that is then checked: every quote and figure must appear in the source, or we send the title and link instead. It does not answer general questions.

How are the summaries prepared?

Summaries are prepared from the full published text using automated tools, including artificial intelligence. Any quote or figure must appear in the source, otherwise we send the title and link only. Some publications cannot be summarised, such as scanned documents, images or pages that block automated reading; for those we send the title and link with a note to read the source. A quote check doesn't guarantee a summary is accurate or complete. Summaries are general information, not legal advice, so always read the source.

What data do you hold?

For alerts, only your email address and delivery preferences. You don't upload documents. Subscriber data is stored with cloud providers that may be outside South Africa.

Where are summaries processed?

Not necessarily in South Africa. The text of public regulatory documents is sent to a third-party AI provider to help prepare summaries, and processing may occur outside South Africa. We do not send subscriber details with that text. Always read the source.

Does it replace our compliance team?

No. It helps your team spot and understand changes sooner. Decisions and advice stay with your people and advisers.

Does it analyse our documents or connect to our systems?

No. We monitor public sources only. It doesn't take in your documents or connect to your other systems.

How long does it take to get started?
